A culture of innovation cannot be built “from above”, only cultivated and nurtured in a team united by common values. Working at ISsoft, you can count on the company’s support even for something as simple as your own startup. Innovative thinking and understanding of the product life cycle are critical abilities for the success of our company. After all, we are not just implementers, but partners and consultants for our clients.
Every ISsoft employee can pitch their project idea to the Innovation Sandbox and get the support they need to grow. Innovation Sandbox helps startups analyze markets and competitors, identify target audiences, form unique competitive advantages and product value, and much more.
Every six months there is another set of projects in ISsoft’s startup incubator. As part of the Innovation Sandbox program participants attend educational sessions, workshops, trainings, conduct hypothesis testing, work on the product promotion and monetization strategy, and, of course, develop a prototype or MVP.
The project leader can invite colleagues from different ISsoft offices to join the team to work together on the product. All Innovation Sandbox participating teams present their projects in front of experts from ISsoft customers and employees. Three winning projects every six months receive financial support from the company.
Dmitry came to Innovation Sandbox with the idea of creating an app that would monitor health, predict heart attacks and call for help for a person in a life-threatening condition. Since winning Demo Day in July 2019, Dmitry and his team have participated in startup events, made an MVP, and trained at the German incubator Vision Health Pioneers.
The initial idea grew into a Digital Health application that doctors can prescribe to patients to monitor their health. Innovation Lab was the impetus in turning Dmitry’s idea into reality, giving a basic understanding of the processes beyond development and the first investments.
QA Automation Engineer Alexander Petsoranski from the Bulgarian office of Coherent Solutions/ISsoft has won Demo Day #6 with his eMarketChain project to create an e-commerce platform using blockchain technology, which will make it possible to refuse commissions to intermediaries and offer the consumer goods at the best prices. The idea that allowed him to win the main prize, its creator calls sharp: in his project, Alexander swung to compete with the leaders of the e-commerce market, such as Amazon, eBay and Alibaba.
The competitive advantage of Alexander’s solution is the integration of the EMAC token, which will help make all payments on the sales platform instant and more secure. In addition, the use of blockchain technology will bypass the fees of payment systems and online stores, thereby significantly reducing the cost of goods for the end consumer.
Roman Kuchuk’s project from the sphere of transportation logistics was the best at Demo Day #5. This is a kind of “virtual assistant”, which will be able to save time for the logistician and support the driver on the road by adapting routes to road changes in real time.
According to Roman, he did not set himself the goal of winning Demo Day – he was interested in how ISsoft could help in the development of the product. And so it turned out: Roman’s team revised the financial plan and updated the business model, while continuing to write code and hold meetings with potential partners. During this time, they managed to get in touch with MapOn and Ruptela – Baltic companies that deal with GPS solutions for vehicle monitoring. They also helped to confirm the hypothesis that the market really needs such a product.
